Description: Inspired by Edgar and Lenore, a mated pair of ravens who live at Lipan Point overlook at the Grand Canyon, whom I have secretly named and adopted. Bold, cunning, mysterious, and playful, I have meditated upon these two for over a decade now and marveled at their gregarious and forever optimistic nature.
Cory's goal was to transmute this plumed celebration of life into a tea that for a moment in time recalled these two love birds rolling and dancing on the strong Canyon updrafts.
For this blend we started with Flowery Orange Pekoe of course, known for its full flavor, inherent sweetness, and underlying malty note. To this we added dried lemon peel, lemon grass, sumac berries, and lemon verbena leaves. We then infused all of this with lemon extract and a touch of bergamot for complexity.
Like Edgar and Lenore, this blend is a bold and straightforward, bright, and present. Perfect for morning or anytime a full-bodied black tea is desired. Ingredients: Flowery Orange Pekoe Black tea, lemon peel, sumac berries, lemon verbena, lemon grass, thyme leaves, organic and proprietary blended essence.
